Cannot run Rebuild DB after migrating to new Linux server

Hello everyone,

After migrating a custom sugarcrm 5.2.0a to a new linux server I am encountering a few problems.
I can not run any of the repair/rebuild features on the admin console.
I am not able to see subpannels.

The steps taken for the migration:
-copy all files to new folder on new server
-change apache as owner of the folder and chmod to 755
-import a BK of the DB using mysql -u root -p <DB> < <DBFILE.SQL>
-updated config.php file for new DB

For example, if I try to run the quick repair and rebuild, nothing else happens after "Processing database and vardef comparison..."

Standard answer: Have a look into the Sugar log file, probaby setting the reporting level first a bit lower. Otherwise it seems ok what you did (assuming that you also adjusted the mysql user who connects to the db).
Maybe clear your browser cache and check whether yuo also adjusted the paths in config.php to your new environment.
Trial and error I am afraid...

The problem was php.ini. Needed to increase the amount of memory available to run scripts.
It works now.
