    Default cannot save

    hi there
    when i press edit on accounts i go in, nothing strange
    but when i press save, nothing, nada. does not want to do anything. and it is only the accounts screen. did the whole repair thing through admin etc. the edit view also does not want to change cia studio.

    Please help

    Had this problem once. Clearing the cache of my browser fixed it. You can also check the files in templates_c. If they are old (means not recreated) delete them.

    Just trial and error as usual...

    Clear your cache of sugarcrm or browser may be this will work for you.

    hi all

    thanks for the replies but i have fixed this

    deleted al editview.pfp linked to accounts in cache and custom - opened studio - deleted editview in module accounts. then clicked on save and publish. strange but true it worked.

    First of all thanks for the SugarCRM, it's a really great system, however I've got similiar problem. I just filled a bug request, but maybe you can help me in this.
    Here is what I wrote in a bug report

    I've got a problem with sugarcrm 5.1.0c up to 5.2.0 (didn't check on earlier releases). When someone tries to add or update an account (with some text entered in description field) he's getting "document contains no data after one or two minutes of waiting". Problem is very weird because me and my collegue can add/update accounts using Firefox or IE on Windows Vista, but two other guys can't (they're using Windows XP with latest SP and also Firefox/IE). I don't know where the problem is.

    Also it seems to be only in Accounts category, there are no problem adding leads or contacts."

    Also sometimes clicking Save does nothing, same as in your situation.

    UPDATE: System doesn't have to be the matter, I tried add an account from another XP and it worked fine. Any ideas guys? I don't know where to look

    Had a similar problem: nobody answered so I reply here, hopefully I will have more luck.

    This is the string I get after trying to change a contract in the Contract Module I have modified...Can anybody help and tell me what's the problem? I can "Create" new contracts, I can "Save and continue" but I cannot modify them: this is what appears after I have pressed "Save".
