    Unhappy Cannot save inbound email configuration

    Hi,
    I have been trying for several hours to configure inbound email accounts on SugarCRM CE 5.0.0g, hosted in a VPS linux server (Hostmysite,com), with no luck.
    I filled all the required fields on the New Account screen, then Tested the configuration with succesful result, then pressed the Save buttom and after a few seconds it appeared a blank screen and no record has been stored in inbound_email table of the database.
    I also looked in sugar.log file, and no error was there.
    I have tried with gmail and yahoo accounts, same result.

    I have been looking for similar issues in this forum, but I couldn't find any.
    Could anyone help me in solving this issue?

    Hi Gabriela

    Is it an clean SugarCRM installation or did you install any patch or package?
    Do you have access to the error_log of apache?

    Hi André,

    After first installation, I have installed a customer package for creating custom modules (exported from another Sugar instance), and the upgrade packages 5.0.0e, f and g.
    I looked into apache error_log file, but no entry was generated when trying to save the configuration.
