Cannot Search using Date Fields!

Hello All,

I had created a few custom date fields in my SUGARCRM layout, i tried palcing these date fields in the search portion of the list view page for ACCOUNTS, unfortunately though, when i select a date from the date box, it doesnt transfer the date info into the field and so i cannot search through any of my custom date fields.

Does anyone know why this is or how i can fix it? Searching for certain date fields is crucial to my operation.
