Can't add additional email address to contact

Trying to add a secondary email address to a contact record.
Edit Contact...Click add address link and a second address field pops up. Enter the new address and hit save...new address doesn't show in the detail view. When I click edit again, only shows the original and not the one I added. Is this a bug? Is there an easy repair from Admin area that can fix?

Follow-up to this is that if there isn't an email address already for the contact, I can add and save as many addresses as I want...

Further follow-up, for several minutes, I was able to add a second address only if I deleted both and started with the second address, saved, then added the first. Wouldn't work in opposite order.

THEN, as soon as I called someone over to demonstrate the weirdness, it let me do my original plan of adding a secondary address.

I'll chalk this one up to general temporary weirdness and keep my eyes peeled...
