Default Can't change user password in 5.5

Hello, I installed the 5.5 Community Edition for my sister and created a user account under her name. However, when I log in as the Admin and select her User profile I do not see a way to modify her password. Am I missing something?

There's no password field after User Type. I don't think that I would have missed that one.

Are you sure that you use SugarCRM 5.5?
Does your SugarCRM have some customizations?

Yes, it's definitely 5.5. Here is a screenshot from the About page:

I have not made any customizations to the application. I just downloaded it from the Sugar site and installed it. Would it have anything to do with file permissions on any of the page folders or files?

I had the same problem and I solved it by following steps:

    1. Access Password management module.

    2. Turn off the option: Enable System-Generated Passwords

Set the user type to Regular User, then go again into Edit View, change the password, then change the type again to Administrator
