Can't configure tabs anymore

60 and 601 all versions: Does anybody know why the tab settings (as in configure tabs) can't be saved anymore? Actually it works every now and then but I couldn't figure out why.

And yes, my permissions are set correctly and so is my user.

Nope, brand new, just did a fresh one to be sure. Not even a language pack installed, no demo data. Admin access. Weird. 554 works

I have tested SugarCRM 6.0. Pro. It works fine.

Did you mean "Configure Tab Groups"?

Nope. Configure tabs. Enable or disable access for all to one or more particular modules.

As a test I set everything to 777, checked sugar log (set to info), apache log. Nothing. Set session dir to another wide open directory. No saving of tabs. Checked another 601 on a different server - same behaviour. 601ent is exactly the same by the way.
