In my sales workflow, I convert leads to contacts after the deal is closed. Before that, they remain as leads. Therefore, I create an opportunity and account before creating a contact. No problem. However, I want to connect the leads to the opportunity and account.

When I try to select leads from the sub-panel, I locate the leads, click the box next to their names, and hit select, but nothing happens. It does not add the lead to the opportunity record, nor does it work with accounts.

What might be causing this? (I have the feeling that pesky, persistent, permissions could be the problem, but that is only a presumption.)

I am using Version 6.2.1 (Build 6405)
Hosted on a Linux server
Apache: 1.3.42
MySQL 5.0.91
PHP: 5.2.5
