    Default Can't Customize Layouts

    Hi,

I;ve created some custom fields in the Studio utility. I then go to add them to the layouts... they drop in.. but when I click Save, they simply disappear and the layout returns to back to the default.

l'm running the Community Edition on a Hosted Linux Red Hat Server... everything else seems ok. One thing to note is when I run Diagnostics it complains about not able to access CacheDir... I've check the perms there.. most are 775 but there are a few directories in the cache folder that I can't adjust perms on...smarty.. modules... blowfish.. just to name a few

    Any suggestions?

You MUST correct the access rigths of the cache directory, because Sugar MUST write in this directories.
    There is no other solution.

Changing rights to 777 gives you full access and control to folders.
What do you think the cookie monster eats ?
