Cant edit the contacts layout

Hello experts
i would like to ask your help for a funny problem that i am having.First i am IE8 and i am trying to edit the contacts layout,i am trying to delete some fields and then i am pressing save and the save and deploy.Then everything goes back to the fist layout condition without my modifications.Sometimes i am trying to clear the cache folder and lot all of my customizations works.It s very strange problem and i have also use chrome.
It took about 1 hour to delete 2 fields from contacts edit layout.and i want to make more custumazions.
any suggenstinos guys?

it seems that the problem was to Microsoft Web Platform Installer 2.0 RC installer
if i use the installer from Sugarcrm site everything works ok!

one more small thing if i use the sugarcrm installer there is no greeK lang pack support (its the 5.5.2 version)
