Version 6.0.3 (Build 4339)

I can not find Quick Create anywhere. I specifically need it for leads. I am new to Sugar and was using 5.x for only a month when my programmer updated up to v6. I've poked around and all I've found is that it is no longer available where it used to be and that in v6 there should be a side-menu somewhere. I can't find it anywhere.
