Can't load 4.5 upgrade file

Hi all,

I am trying to upload from 4.01 to 4.5. I am running SugarCRM 4.01 on a Fedora o/s and am accessing it from WinXP client.

When I try to use the upgrade wizard, I select the zip file that I downloaded from the Sugar site and click upload. The page refreshes and the 'error' line 'Please specify a file and try again!' appears.

I have also tried this from the server itself and have the same problem.

Am I doing something stupid?

hi

when i saw, that i should manually merge a LOT of files (upgrading to 4.5),
i decided to install a plain sugar 4.5 and manually migrated the DB-contents (table by table with mysql-admin and query-browser)

bit of work - but working perfect

Check that the php upload size limit is sufficient for the patch.

Also, check permissions - everything under the main sugar directory should be accesible by the user that apache runs as (in my case, apache runs as user "apache" - it may be different for you depending on your server)
