Cant login! But only with one login, not all!

Hi All,

Hoping you can help.

I am using open source and when i try to log on it says page cant be displayed. If i log on as admin, it works foine, same with any other username. I have tried restarting computer, trying different computer, clearing cahes, temp files etc but nothg works.

This is a pain because i cant see any of my tasks!!!!!

Long shot, but have you tried resetting that user's password?

Yep tried that! still no luck!

Hmm...pretty weird.

Try deactivating/re-activating the user name. If it is still a problem, I would do the following:

1. Jot down the ID value for the problematic user's record in the USERS table.

2. Delete the problematic user's DB record.

3. Create a new user with the same name. Manually update it to change the ID value to be that of the previous record.

Yes, it does work. Many people use it, and like any other piece of software, it too can have problems.

Will not allow me to login in says "You must specify a valid username and password."

By registered, do you mean that you submitted your info to the folks at SugarCRM so they know you are using the software?

If so, that's not tied to your login. Have you tried to login using the login "admin" and the password you assigned to the Sugar administrator at install time?
