Can't save/edit employees from admin panel

Hi,

I was trying to edit some details in an employee account but found out that I can't save the changes I made.

I know there are two views on an employee:
1. The simple one can be accessed by clicking on the employee list in the top right. There you can edit basic things like name, email, etc. This works!
2. The advanced view can be reached by going to the admin panel and click on 'manage users' (or employees ... i'm using a localized version). There you can edit more settings like date/time format, default currency and so on. This DOESN'T work!

I can change the values, but I can't save them. The save button looks normal but clicking on it doesn't trigger a save action - nothing happens. And when I leave the mask, all changes are gone.

Is there a setting somewhere that prevents the admin from changing user details? I can't even change my own user details from the admin panel.

Any ideas?

PS: I can't create new users or group users either.

What browser are you using? There is some script error/warning message been displayed in yoru browser status log?

It was the german language files that disabled the buttons. Logging in with english language works.
