Cant save Tabs Group configuration

Hi,

When I add modules to Tab Groups in "Configure Tabs Group" and click "save and deploy" button, the modules I've added disappear from the group I've moved them to. Also, if I create a new group, this disappears when I click "save and deploy".

I can remove modules without a problem...

I'm using Version 5.5.0 (Build 6653) and have tried 2 browsers: chrome and firefox.

Does anyone know if I' doing something wrong or if this is a known bug and if so, is there a work arround (e.g. inserting to the DB)?

Please list your environment:

operating system + version
version of php, mysql & webserver
version of sugarcrm

Win XP pro sp3
Not sure about the php version - 5 I think
Not sure about the apache version - 2 I think
(php and apache were installed from sugarcrm-CE-5.5.1RC2-windows-msql-installer.exe)
MS MQLExpress
Sugar CRM Version 5.5.0 (Build 6653)

If you need the versions of php and apache, please can you let me know how to find these.

Copy the above code into a file. Call the file phpinfo.php. Save the file to the root web folder of your webserver (usually www).

Point your browser at the server to serveraddress/phpinfo.php

This will print out a long list including all the versions.

If you have firefox install the firebug addon, enable tabs console, javascript and network.
Try to reproduce this same issue using firefox. If you face an error message at the right bottom corner of firefox screen let us know all details regarding such error.

Try move your added modules Admin->Configure Tabs from "Hidden Tabs" to "Displayed Tabs"
and try again add new tab "Configure Tabs Group"

Did you find a resolution to this issue? I am experiencing the same problem.

Check what parser said.

Go to 'My Account', click 'Edit' and check if your tab is the 'Hide Tabs', if yes, move it to 'Display Tabs' (check out my two attached screenshots). This should solve your problem. I know it solved mine

**Found a fix:**

To get this to work without having to do the above workaround (which wouldn't suffice for my needs) I had to:

1. Navigate to the root directory of my sugar install
2. Create file config_override.php and chmod to 766
3. Run: chmod -R 777 custom

After following those steps the Configure Tabs Group page now works just fine for me!

I to am having the same issue. Mine is not letting me add the call, meeting, notes, and taks back into a tab.

I am running Sugarcrm 5.5.1 on Windows Server 2003 using the Window's IIS and MS SQL 2005 Express.

Please Help.
