Lightbulb Case Change account into Contact

    Hello everyone!

My first glimpse at Sugar is looking good.

I was trying to get *tiger to do the job, but it's poorly maintained and I didn't get a good answer there (not posted anything either...)

But I wanted to do (I believe) very little with this CRM. I just want to create a case (or problem) for the company I work for. There are just my boss and me so it's a small company.

Were working in the IT sector (administrating network and systems and repairing broken systems etc. etc.) but also for non-business customers.

For those (or both!) I wanted to setup a little bit of CRM only to be able to put all the customers or clients in a database. First only for those who bring systems to us for repair. (We now use notepad for the job and the directory holding the text files is getting rather big )

SugarCRM could do the job just fine, but when Quick creating a case I'm only able to create an account. Is it possible to change that into a contact (for synchronizing with outlook (I don't know if its possible but think so!)) ? So I don't want to create an account but a contact add relate the case to a contact instead of an account. Is that possible? Otherwise I'll go for the accounts! It's way better than how we organize them now

Cases are linked to Accounts ... so create the account and the contact and when you create the Case, do so from the Contact module subpanel.
