Default Case Management: Limiting who can close a case

    Dear Sugar Community,

A case can be in these Status': New, Assigned, Closed, Pending Input, Rejected, Duplicated.

I'd like a technician to only be able to select "New" or "Pending Input".

I tried to set a Role, but that doesn't have enough fine grained access controls.

Am I looking in the right spot? Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers
    Mylo

You can't do this via built-in functionality.

You'd have to modify the code to detect the currently logged in user and restrict the choices based on who is logged in.
