Case-Sensitivity in Sugar

We run SugarCRM Enterprise 5.2.0 on Linux/Oracle. One annoyance is that search is case-sensitive: e.g. "iDSystems" will not be found if one enters "ID..." or "id...". Any solutions to this?

I just posted a project on sugarForge for a Full Text search engine embedded into Sugar. This search is not case sensitive and also supports other nice features bringing the power of a real search engine to the CRM stack. http://www.sugarforge.org/projects/kinamulucene/ - it is not ported yet to sugar professional but that should be fairly easy.
