    Default Cases not showing up in dashlet

    I am having this funny thing that cases that are autocreated by the incoming mail processor are not showing up in the home page Cases dashlet. They are autoassigned to myself and do not show up, whatever I change in the filtering of the dashlet.

    Then when I open the case in Cases for edit and save without changing or editing anything, it magically shows up in the dashlet.

    I am totally stumped, have spent a couple of hours on this issue yesterday and being no further as when I started. This is not a problem with the filtering! I have tried any possible filtering. The only thing that I can do is open and close for edit and then the case appears in the dashlet.

    I would appreciate some advise as I intended this function to operate without user intervention and it now needs that by opening and saving cases without editing.

    Can you check whether there is a difference in the database between a raw, not showing record and the one that you opened and saved?
    I suspect that the owner is missing hence it doen't show anything.

    I have to disappoint you in the sense that I am not technical enough to make such a judgement.

    I have to rely on the help through this forum to get myself to the next step.

    If you look at a case (in detaill view) that was automatically created BEFORE you open it - does the field "assigned to" show anything?

    It does show my name in the case. That is why I do not understand. In the Dutch translation there were no -- null -- values for priority and status so I created them to doublecheck. That did not help. I double checked by switching to English. Same problem: the case is autoassigned fine. It shows up in the cases but not in the dashlet. Only uintil after I have opened and saved the case, it shows up in the dashlet.

    Can it have anything to do with the creation date versus the modifictaion date??

    I am having this issue on two separate installations of Sugar CE. Any chances that somebody from the Sugar team can look into this?

    I am an idiot, I of course have the same issue. The reason is as simple as stupid: These cases don't have a status, that's why they don't show. Clearly a bug if you ask me. Will check whether there is one registered already, if not I will do that.
