Default CE Teams - lead conversion problem

    Good day!

I have a problem with CE Teams module. I have this module enabled in "leads", "contacts" and "accounts".
(CE Teams and the Sugar are both the newest version). The problem is while I convert the lead to a contact the assigned team field is empty on the contact form ( but lead was assigned to one of the team). The problem is big for me because for that reason users who are in team "A" using the leads from this team must sometimes convert them to a contact/account. But in this situation when they make conversion and lead became a contact with no-team assigned they can't see the contact (only admin can see because of his permisions which allow to him see all the contacts/leads/accounts from any team). I tried any different way to make this work and any suggestion will be very helpfull for me. Thank You in advance.

Someone else reported the same problem to me and managed to fix it by clearing ALL caching on the SugarCRM server.

As long as the team_id field exists in the Leads module and in the target module, the convert lead function works as expected.

Here is the actual reply from the other person:
We read in the forum that custom variables get converted if the variable in the target module exits and has the same name in every module.

After installing CE Team for every module, activating it and adding the field to the forms we had your variable in every module as needed for converting. But it still didn’t work automagically.

After cleaning the caches of XCache (both variable and php) and reloading Sugar it worked out of the box. The caching software on the server delivered old/outdated pages to the client.

So converting a lead an transferring the team variable to the other modules works now

    Dear Marnus,

Unfortunetly this didn't work by us. I have even tryied to install completly new instance of OpenSUSE 11.1 and new instance of Sugar with new Teams module. I have created a new lead, assigned to a team and converted it. Unfortunetly in the contact the filed "Assigned team" is still empty.

Is any possibility to make this work manualy, digging in code?

    Thank You for any suggest.

Do you have an assigned team on the Lead?

Sorry the only other thing I can recommend is to create a before_save logic hook on the target module to check the team_id on the lead and populate it on the target.
