Change a Dropdown to a MultiSelect

Hi,

So a requirement to convert a Dropdown we had to a MultiSelect has been identified. Is it possible to do and and populate the multiselect with the items in the dropdown and to keep the whatever values where selected in the dropdown as selected in the MultiSelect?

It's possible but I would backup first the table, and after the creation of the new field import the old field into the new filed type, this with SQL.
