change fields in account

hello i'm fresh user and i want to know how can i change some fields, for example in accounts/create account i want to change the list of types, how can i do that?

you can find the list of types of accounts in includes/language/en_us.lang.php

search for account_type_dom

all the definition of dropdowns resides in this file.

Hi, Paroll

You could redefine the content of dropdowns using Studio, rather than editing the core file.

Go to Admin -> Studio -> Dropdown Editor

Click int chosen dropdown and create, delete or modify the entries
Click Save after that.

unfortunatelly in studio i've got white screen - just nothing..

C:\Program Files\sugarcrm-5.0.0d\htdocs\sugarcrm\include\language\en_us.lang

but still.. in studio there is nothing

Hmmm, I haven't come across the studio problem your having but you might try running a quick repair if you haven't already. If that doesn't work you might consider trying an upgrade to 5.0.0e.
