change list view of target lists / prospect lists

Hi there,

How would I go about changing the list view of the target list module (also called prospect list)?
(...index.php?module=ProspectLists)

Really I'm still trying to figure out how to change any of these view layouts when it's not editable in Studio.

In this case I'd simply like to add more columns to the list view as this list will very quickly grow and become chaotic. I'd like to sort by date e.g., or other criteria.

PS also any hints as to where to learn the steps necessary for such manual custom editing would be greatly apreciated! I'm new to the whole sugarcrm thing.

Create empty script modules/ProspectLists/metadata/studio.php and go to Admin -> Studio -> Target Lists.

thanks alot for this tip!

I'm assuming this is not update safe and cannot be made update safe.

Am I assuming correctly, that after an update the changes are still visible in the SUGAR GUI but cannot be edited in Studio, until this change is made again in the new installation?

Another question:
I was hoping that by adding a custom "relate" field to the module "ProspectList" (relating to Module Campaigns), and then adding it to the search view of this module, I'd be able to filter the target lists by campaigns they're associated to. This seems not to be the case. The new relate field seems to be empty. Despite relationships being of course present between target lists and campaigns.

My approach must be flawed. Would it be difficult to achieve this search functionality: Filter target lists by associated campaign?

Any help would be appreciated.
