Default Change of predefined sales status

    Hello everybody!

We use the sugar community edition and would like to change the predefined catagories of the "sales status" (Prospecting, Qualification, Needs analysis....) in "Oppertunities" to A,B,C and D. Is the admin able to do this? And if, where is the options located? Or do we need to change the source? If so, on which position do we have to change the source code? Has anybody tried this before?

Thanks for any support in advance

    Lars

It's a drop down. So yes it can be changed. They would edit the drop down in the regular way. The name of the dropdown is sales_stage_dom and you have to edit it via the drop down editor under studio.

    STOP !!!
Before changing anything read my post in thread http://www.sugarcrm.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31376 .
The Sales Stages are hardcoded in some modules, my post contains hints how to change them.

    Thank you very much.

We were able to solve the problem. We have just changed the phrases in the standuard language file.
