Default Changing actual values in sales_stage dom

    Good afternoon,

I want to change the actual values, not just the values that are displayed in the sales_stage drop down menu. How can be this be done. I was going to change it in the file:

    cache\jsLanguage\en_us.js.

Will this work and will it affect the running of the system in any way?

    I eagerly await a response.

    sug

You'll want to do your changes in custom\include\language\en_us.lang.php and then repair/rebuild all, rebuild javascript langauage, etc to push it to the cache where you were going to edit. If you have entries in your database already with a sales stage you'll probably want to also go directly into the database and update those values to match your new drop down values.

    Good luck!

you will also want to modify the sales_probability_dom dropdown with the same database values as the sales stage since the probability field auto populates based on the value you select in the sales stage field.
