    Default Changing default case priority

How can I change the default case priority in 5.5.1 Enterprise?

Currently there is no default set, but you can't edit this in studio.

    thanks, Rick

In studio go to cases/fields and choose the priority field. Then choose "edit" for the dropdown and re-order the priorities so that your choice of default priorities is the first in the list.

    Hope that helps!

Tracey, this will work, however, it them puts medium at the top of the drop down list, which I want to avoid.

There is a 'Default value' field in the Edit Field section of Studio, but it's greyed out - idealy that's what I want to change.

I guess there's a DB change that can be made, it just seems odd that a field like this is not editable after it's been created.

Can you tell me what version of php you are using? This should not be greyed out so I'm wondering if your php version is not compatible? Is this a new installation?

I will see if I can replicate this but as you are an Enterprise customer you should submit a case through the \Sugar Case Portal and one the the Sugar experts will contact you, usually fairly quickly.

In the meantime, as I said, I'll try to replicate it.

Thanks for that. I didn't realise this was a bug until you mentioned it - I have now opened a case ticket with support.

Knowing my luck they'll say it's fixed in 6.0 and close my ticket!!
