Changing the default Team

Hi all,

I swear I've scanned/searched the docs and can't find the answer, so please forgive me if this is documented.

When my users create new contacts, projects, etc. from the Quick Add form (left side of screen) it doesn't have the "Team" field and defaults to (admin). Is there a way to change the default Team? Or do I need to modify all the layouts so the Team field is showing?

Hi Pete,

what version of sugar are you using? When using the Quick Create forms, the team should default to that user's default team. This is the same as when the user creates any new record - the assign to field will default to their user, and the team will default to the default team set up for that user. The default team can be modified for each user by going into the User's My Account tab, or the admin can do so in the User Management area in the admin area. I recommend that if most of your records are assigned to Team Global, that you make sure all users have team Global as a default team
