    Default Changing the Order of Stuff in a Contact Record

    I'm flummoxed, because I don't know the proper names of things in SugarCRM (what the heck is a dashlet?). So, this is probably easy to do. Can anyone help?

    If I am looking at an individual contact record, underneath the personal information are:
    ACTIVITIES, HISTORY, DOCUMENTS, OPPORTUNITIES, LEADS,.....

    How can I change the order of these things? I want:
    HISTORY, OPPORTUNITIES, DOCUMENTS, ACTIVITIES, LEADS....

    Any help would be much appreciated. I dug around the Admin functions and could not seem to find this.

    Hello Cheryl,

    Those areas underneath the contact are called subpanels. You can reorder them by click on the name of each subpanel (such as History) and dragging it to where you want it to be located.

    Dashlets are the small "frames" on the Dashboard (home page) that displays data from various modules. You can add additional dashlets by clicking the "Add Dashlet" button on the upper right area of the home page.

    Thanks so much! That was easy. I never noticed that anything in SugarCRM used a drag-and-drop metaphor. Now I'll look around more closely at that. And the dashlet mystery is now solved!
