Changing the search layout

Hi,

Having problems adding/removing fields to the basic and/or search fields. I go to | Studio > Accounts > Layouts > Basic Search and change the fields between default & hidden then click save & deploy but as soon as I go back in it has reverted to the order it was previously.

Does anyone have any ideas why or suggestions how I can change my search layouts?

check the cache and custom folder (files) permission set 777 to all custom and cache folders
then change your layout and deployee.

I am on a community version...can you tell me where to go to do your suggestion please....sorry, very new to this

There is nothing to do with the version you use. You have to check if the folder has permissions...
If you are in linux is different from windows...
Just see if you have write and read permissions...

Just checked, & I have full read/write permissions
