Hey everyone. I'm trying to dumb down SugarCRMs interface as much as possible so that none of my users are overwhelmed by all of the options it offers. To this end I have cut the number of tabs visible in half. But I noticed that even after removing a great deal of them, some tabs still have their subpanels. For example, I removed the "Activities" tab, but when I go to Accounts and into the DetailView of a particular account, the Activities subpanel is still visible.
Also, a few subpanels that don't have tabs are also visible--for example, History. I'm not sure whether or not we'll keep this around--if we don't, is there a simple way (barring manual edit of each of the layout_defs.php files) to remove the subpanel system-wide?
Finally, is there an easy way to change the order of subpanels? To use the previous example, in the Accounts DetailView, the first subpanel is Activities. Can I place Contacts in front of it on a system-wide level without having to edit layout_defs? (I know individual users can customize their layouts, but I'm trying to see whether or not I can change these defaults quickly and efficiently, or if it's going to require heavy manual editing.)
