    Default Charts are gone

    6.2 Professional.
    We are in the customization phase and finally got to the report/dashboard phase. Have not gone live yet.

    All charts are gone from the dashboard (I am not sure if they were ever there).

    The error I can see is 404 not found on the following link:

    sugarcrm/include/SugarCharts/Jit/js/Jit/jit.js?c=1

    I looked at our server and there is no Jit directory under sugarcrm/include/SugarCharts/Jit/js
    indeed I cannot find a jit.js anywhere on the server

    Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    thanks,
    Francesca

    Are you SugarCRM hosted in Linux or Windows?
    Can you make sure there is no file permission issue?

    Thanks for your quick response.

    We have SugarCRM locally, LAMP installation.

    We executed the following from our sugar root:

    sudo find . -type d -exec chmod 775 {} \;
    sudo find . -type f -exec chmod 664 {} \;

    so all directories have 775 and all files have 664, unless I missed something...

    It seems there were an issue installing your SugarCRM instance.
    Unzip your SugarCRM installer and look for such missing folder.

    Even better!
    The original files do not even have the Jit directory in sugarcrm/include/SugarCharts/Jit

    We started on 6.2 Pro beta, then upgraded to the general release. Something must have been missed in the upgrade. I'll have to track down the person who did the upgrade or I'll have to download installer source files again.

    Thanks for your help.

    I got a hold of a clean copy of SugarCRM Pro and copied the include/SugarCharts directory to our environment. I replaced the whole thing because the contents were so different.

    The charts are back, although they don't look very nice, they are rather blurry and unrefined graphics... hopefully I didn't break something else in the process...

    The only thing I can think of is that something went wrong when we upgraded from Pro 6.2beta to Pro 6.2 General Release (we started our implementation on 6.2beta knowing we would not be live before the general release - we are still not live)

    Thanks again.
