    Default Charts, reports in modules?

    Hi,

    Using Sugar CE 6.3

Is it possible to add charts or reports to modules e.g Accounts or some custom built modules?

I assume it can't be done with the basic sugar install? Is there a module that I can get to help with this.

I presume I can use iFrames to do this? - But was hoping to use something more intergrated into Suger to achieve this? Going to look into Zucker to see if that will work for me, should I bother?

Any info or deriction would be great.

    Thanks

Default Re: Charts, reports in modules?

We added this feature to our KINAMU Reporter with Release 2.7 in the premium Edition. Take a look at this document page 22.

You can create reports (basic lists or Charts) and publish them as subpanels under modules (Standard or custom) where you can also use fields from the main module as filter criteria in the report. What our customers typically use this for is to show e.g. revenue reports and stats underneath a customer or to create dynamic subpanels where you can also filter in subpanels using the reporter.

Second typical scenario is to create subpanels where with Standard Sugar you would have a hard time coding it or would need to hardcode a whole lot of things (like a union activitiy report linking different sources)

    regards, christian.
