    Hi,

    I've just upgraded to Sugar 5.1.0 GA from 5.0.0g and it seems that my group inboxes are broken. I no longer receive new emails.

    First, was there a functionality change? The "Check mail" and "Synchronize" context-menu buttons are disabled for group inbox but not for my personnal inbox. I haven't found the answer in the release note...

    Second, I used to check for new emails manually by pressing the general "check mail" button as the crontab is not activated on my server. Is this still an option or does the "check mail" only checks the personnal inbox ?

    I tried manually running "c:\php\php.exe -f cron.php", then "Check mail" but the new emails do not appear in Sugar...

    I tried deleting the inbox and recreating it. The emails get downloaded once (all have the same received date) and no more new emails get through...

    I'm using IMAP with "Assign To Group Folder: None"

    Can anyone confirm this bug or help me figure out what I'm doing wrong?

    UPDATE
    I read in the 5.1 manual that the only way to check mail for group inboxes in via the scheduler. So my problem it seems is a broken scheduler...

    I activated the crontab. My cron.php job sometimes hangs for 5-10 minutes and nothing happens. I think that is why the group email are not working.

    When going to Admin->Schedulers, the following error appears in the sugarcrm.log :
    FATAL] Error fetching relationship from cache schedulers_created_by

    I tried repairing the Relationships, it did not work. I also tried rebuilding the Schedulers, but I get a "MySQL error 1364: Field 'name' doesn't have a default value"

    I checked the "relationships.cache.php" file for the "schedulers_created_by" as suggested here and haven't found it. I did see a "schedulers_created_by_rel" entry though... could this be related??

    I then tried renaming the relationship_name in the DB and in the cache file to remove the _rel but rebuilding the Relationship and database recreates the original names.

    I really must get the group inbox working again otherwise sugar is useless. Any thoughts on how to solve this issue is appreciated...

    I'm experiencing the same problem that the scheduler does not seem to be working. Running on a linux and just upgraded to 5.1
    The error message I see in the log is:

    Thu Aug 28 22:10:13 2008 [14526][1][FATAL] Error fetching relationship from cache schedulers_created_by

    I tried the Repair Relationships, but that's as far as my skills go.

    Edit; nevermind, I found the problem. You have to execute the php that comes with sugar rather than the one that comes with the linux distro. I changed my crontab for this and it works now.

    * * * * * cd /opt/sugarcrm-5.0.0b/htdocs/sugarcrm; /opt/sugarcrm-5.0.0b/php/bin/php -f cron.php > /dev/null 2>&1

    Very frustrating. I have 5.1 installed on windows server and cannot get the scheduler to run.

    have you tried setting the "Save Row Source" option to NO ?

    Do you mean "Save Raw Source" in the Inbound Email settings? If so, it is already set to "No" and always was.

    The email module in 5.1A is still buggy. In group folder, all new emails are the "replied" and "important" flags are always set, even for new emails!

    In IMAP, deleting an email from the server does not delete it from the IMAP folder in Sugar, etc.

    I just had to stop using the email module for inbound emails...
