Clarification of "spaced" out problem.

Hello board,

I thought to clarify my earlier and unanswered post on the subject of spacing. What I refer to is the text editor when one is in e-mail template mode. One sees the HTML editor on top, and beneath is the text editor for e-mail clients set to text-only viewing. The HTML/WYSIWYG editor works fine, but its the text editor that's the problem: even though I hit return to have spaces between lines, the spaces (e.g. carriage returns via the [ENTER] button) are somehow lost by the time the e-mail reaches an inbox.

Is this a bug? Anyone else have this problem? How have you solved it?
