Clickable Email in Accounts ListView

I've searched thru forums, but wasn't able to find out, how to add an email field to list view in Accounts mode.
Bu default it's not even available in Studio's list view layout. I've created it in listviewdefs.php, it did appear in Studio, but it has no value on the site - just emptu field, only label is shown.

I understand, that probably email field for list view is not in the query, but where can I add it to query?

I'm still new to Sugar, sorry :-(

Let's expand it s little: What is the right way to add custom fields in list view or subpanel?
Some fields are just not accessible in Studio in list view or subpanel layouts.
