Under certain circumstances it happens that the base url is inserted twice. I found (not an empirically confirmed observation) that this happens if an email template is opened and edited outside of a campaign (the editing does not start from within the marketing message).
You do not have to insert an opt-out link, Sugar will do that automatically. But since you do not see this automatically inserted link it does not give you a possibility to format it. If you do not want to have an opt out link then create one with the campaign but do not insert it into the template. Then there is NO opt out link.
I personally think that one has to be a bit more pragmatic here - it it doesn't work, who gives a d...? Put in a sentence that says: "If you do not want to receive..bla bla..send us an emnail with the word "optout" as subject".
As a Sugar Pro/Ent customer I wouldn't be that forgiving though. The product should work as advertised and paid for.
