Company Branches in Sugar?

Hello,

We are evaluating SugarCRM for using it in our company. So far we like it but we are missing (either because it's not there or because we can't find it) a feature which allows us to define the regional branches of our company, assign people to one given branch and prevent users from one branch to see what happens in another one. Plus, higher management should be able to get data from all branches.

First I've thought of installing several instances of SugarCRM, one at every site (advantage: it will be on the LAN, thus faster, and not on the WAN), but maintaining 5-10 installations is more work and it will be much harder to aggregate the data from all Branches.

If this feature is indeed not available in SugarCRM Community edition, is it available in the commercial one?

Your requirement can be accomplished with one of the available Teams module, like CE Teams and Security Suite.
