    Default Completely hide modules

    Hi,

    Do you know if there is a way to disable default modules everywhere in Sugar ?
    I mean even in the "Display Module Tabs and Subpanels" page and everywhere you have to select a module.
    I heard it was impossible to remove them.
    I only want my custom modules to appear.

    Regards,
    Vincent

    There is no quick way to do that. You need to accomplish several tasks:
    • Hide the modules into "Display Module Tabs and Subpanels";
    • Create an extended application language to hide from parent dropdown all built in modules;
    • Create an extended include to setup all built in modules as modInvList.

    Probably there are some other tasks to do.

    Thank you for the quick answer.

    Could you be more precise on the two last points ?

    It's almost done.

    I modified the following files to hide the unwanted modules :
    • languages files in include/language
    • languages file in custom/application/Ext/language
    • include/module.php (for Studio and tabs)

    I only have several blank lines in the "Display Module Tabs and Subpanels" page but that's OK for me.

    Cheers,
    Vincent
