Hi everyone!
It is possible that my problem was already explained in this forum, however what I read did not provide the answer I need!
I'm on Sugar Community Edition version 5.10.
I want to create a mail account "support@domain.com" that is accessible to 4 people working in my company so they can receive requests from customers and respond.
As administrator, I created the account in the Admin section (test the connection to the mail server is OK) in combination with a group folder.
I thought it was enough but apparently not because I see a group folder appear in my e-mail module, but although the group folder appears, could not get the messages in the box by clicking on "check mail "(when I click on it, absolutely nothing happens).![]()
(You can see the screen capture I attached with this post !)
And I realized there's any moment or link to assign the group folder created to these 4 people (which explains why it is not in their module E-mail when connect to their account)!
(I've heard about "team" in the help documents but I found nothing on Sugar using this term!: S)
If I parameter the mail account in the "Settings" of my E-mail module by inserting the same information (POP3, etc. ...), all goes well and I can recover e-mails on this address ...![]()
But this means that I have to log into the Sugar CRM's account of these 4 people to set the "support@domain.com" account in their E-mail module ...
My problem:
- If I have to do that, I don't see the advantage to setup e-mail accounts in the Admin section and create folders group
- If I do this for the future 15 or 50 employees of my company that will be in charge of responding to e-mails received on "support@domain.com", it might be boring !
I hope to be quite clear by explaining my problem ...
Who can answer me, help me or tell me where to find the answer is / the welcome (e)!
Thank you in advance!![]()
