Default Conflict between SugarCRM installation and Existing PHP Database?

    Hello everyone,

I just want to post a quick question that, during the installation process of SugarCRM, is there a potential risk to overwrite existing PHP based data? We have been using "1-2 All" email marketing system which uses MySQL database and would not want all the valuable data to be lost. Thanks in advance!

    Sincerely Yours,
    James.

As long as you don't use the same database name during installation as a database that already exists AND you choose to overwrite it, you should be fine.

Sugar does not overwrite any PHP settings.
