Connecting Contacts and Accounts for SQL Queries

How does sugar connect the accounts to the contacts? I am looking through the database structure and I see the AccountID in Accounts and ContactID in contacts but I cant find where the ContactID is in the Account Module??????

in the database, there is a table called accounts_contacts. This links accounts and contacts together by their ids.

Can you please guide me how to use the custom filed of One module in other.
That is for example I want to use the the City filed of accounts in contacts ie, When I go to contacts edit view i should be able to see that particular contact's city same as the account's city name. Any ideas...

This functionality is already built into the system. If you create a contact from the subpanel in the Account detail view or create a new contact and select and account, if the account has address of phone numbers populated, they will automatically populate the same fields into the related Contact record
