    Default Contact List is empty or blank

    I'm having a problem with my contact list displaying correctly. I have added several contacts but they don't appear in the the contact list. I have a new installation of Open Source 4.5.1b. Is there some sort of configuration I need to do to make these contacts appear? It doesn't seem to matter if I log in as admin or just a regular users. I have attached a picture of the screen to show what I'm talking about.

    Any help is appreciated.

    1. Is any checkbox checked/values selected in Basic Search/Advance Search.
    Just click the 'clear'

    2. In the admin System Settings check this value
    Listview items per page:

    None of the checkboxes are checked/ no values entered in the selected in Basic Search/Advance Search.
    The Listview items per page is set to the default 20.

    I added some custom fields to contacts but I wouldn't think that would kill the display list. Any thoughts?

    Have you checked the log (sugarcrm.log) for any error messages? I've had this problem before and it ended up being some relationship that could not be loaded. If that is the case, there should be an entry in the log indicating that there was an error loading the relationship from cache. If you run rebuild relationships under Admin, it should clear out the cache and update all the relationships. I believe that's all it was in my case...
    If that doesn't do the trick, check if your contact records are connected to existing users and possible other records, so the LEFT JOINS performed for the ListView are working correctly.
