Contact List not populating

Here is the situation that I am having with the contacts list. This happens in multiple places, anywhere that I am trying to attach a contact to a record. Here is the example.

1. Go into Opportunities tab
2. Select an opportunity
3. Within the opportunities tab, scroll down to contacts
4. You are given two choices, "Create" and "Select"
5. Choose "Select"

This should pop up a separate window in which to search your contact database. The window pops up but I am unable to search through existing contacts, it is as if the contacts database were blank. I can do this with the Leads tab and it works just fine.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Are you able to reproduce this issue in a fresh sugar installation, same version you are playing, with demo data?
I´m not able to reproduce it under 5.2.0d version.
Did you customize anything on Contacts module? Any installed package?

We did a fresh install, using the production data, and the problem has persisted. We are running version 5.0.0i without any customization to the contacts module.

What can I say: There is a sql error on Contacts popup.
When you have records inside a module and its popup returns no records on ListView so the ListView sql query is broken.
Follow the steps on this thread to debug the issue.
