Default Contact Module and Subpanels bugs/questions

Hi, I'm using 5.0.0b, and I've been having a few bugs or problems occur with Sugar.

FIrstly, within the Contact -> Advanced Search module, I have created a custom field, Keywords, that I use to search through contacts by classification. When I do the search it works fine on the first screen, displaying the first page worth of results and the appropriate number of contacts returned from the search (for ours, it is records 1-50).

HOWEVER, when I click next to go to the next page of records, instead of displaying the 51-100 records for the search term I entered, it displays records 51-100 as if I had entered a null query (i.e. no filter, all records displayed). Is this because I set up the custom field incorrectly? I feel like a bug such as this must already have been fixed somewhere but I couldn't find anything on it in the forums.

Another issue I am having is with the Contact Subpanel in the Accounts tab - for some reason when I create a contact from the subpanel, I can enter all the information included on the full form except an email address.... for some reason, the email address panel is displayed, but where the Add Address button normally is, there is simply a panel with the word -None- in it and no button. I am fairly new to Sugar, but have used Studio several times to customize our CRM, and am fairly competent with it. However, I can't find where to change this option at all in Studio.

Any help anyone can offer to one or both of these questions would be much appreciated.

I have no idea right now, but...
How did you create your Keyword custom field?
How did you add it to Advanced search?
Just asking to know more details...

    Never had this issue...
Have you tried some of the Admin->Repair functions?
What do you think the cookie monster eats ?

For the first problem, I created the Keywords field through Studio. I went to Contacts -> Fields and then used the Add Field button. The system label for this is LBL_KEYWORDS and the Max Size is 255 characters.

As for the other problem, the Admin -> Repair Database function has been used twice, but nothing changed either time. Is there any way in studio to modify what shows up in the Create Contact form in the subpanel of the Accounts tab? That's what I'm looking to do for my 2nd problem.

    Thanks

    Thanks
On first issue I have no idea.
On the second, I would try not a repair database function, but a clear template cache and then rebuild relationships.
    I have one question:
when you click "create" in the contacts subpanel inside account's module, at the end of the creation form you can see a "full form" button that opens a new contact editview. In this full form, is the "add email" correct or not?
What do you think the cookie monster eats ?

I asked that question to understand where things stop working.
My bet now is something wrong with relationships. What about that repair-rebuild relationships hint? Did it work?

Yes, add email displays correctly in the full form, but the full form navigates away from the account page that I have open, so that sort of defeats the purpose of this. Its not a HUGE concern for me either way, I can still add it from another page, I just wondered why it would be like that where I can't do it on the page I'm on.

I don't know what happened, but this post of mine answers to another post that I now see below mine, not above...

Any help from anyone else? I feel like these problems aren't that difficult to fix, I just don't have the knowhow to do it!

EDIT: I also tried the repair-relationships function and it didn't make any difference.... sigh, software imitates life sometimes, doesn't it?

    Hi OLC.
In a previous post of yours I read you used the "Repair Database" function.
I think that is not the right Repair function to use in this case.
Try Admin->Repair-> "Clear Template Data Cache": don't modify any selection, just click the "Repair" button and wait.
After that, go to Admin->Repair again and select "Rebuild Relationships".
At the end the link should display correctly.

I followed your directions exactly, but the problem persists. Also, I haven't mentioned this before, but prior to about 2 weeks ago, this function worked perfectly (for the Accounts tab problem). So it was working, now it isn't. I don't think I changed anything but I may have done so accidentally.
