Contact Name added to Case upon creation

Greetings all,

In Cases, I would like to have the ability to have the system automatically fill a 'Contact' field, if the case is created from within the Contact's case sub-panel. Anyone know how to make that happen? I noticed that while Accounts is on the default Edit and Detail views, Contact is not. Also, if created from the Cases module, I'd like the field to be able to query all contacts, to ensure the Case is being attached to the right person.

Basically, I'd like a Case field that functions exactly as the existing Accounts field does.

Hopefully this makes sense!
