    Default Contract expired Notification

    Hello,
I am using SugarCRM 5.2j CE and I would like to know if there is a way to notify a the user assigned to a contract when it is about to expire.
I tried using Contracts 5.0 extension as well as the OpenSales extension but it seems none does the trick.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks in advance,

You should be able to create a fairly simple PHP script that scans the contracts for you on a nightly basis and then sends out the notifications.

You should need to create a scheduled task to alert that.

    Thanks for your replies
Is there a way of doing it without coding?
    Thanks in advance.

As Angel and Andopes have indicated, there's no automatic way of doing this. There are a few options:

    1. custom coding - not complex
    2. set a scheduled task for the Contract to remind users
    3. create a report to list all Contracts due to expire
