Contract Type broken

While editing a contract, the drop down for Contract Type is empty and doesn't reflect the content of the list as define in the admin section.
We are using 4.5.1e (Build 1049)
I have visited the onlie dome for 5.0 and this is still the same.

Any idea about a resolution date (patch on 4.5) or walk around solution ?

I have the same problem, so I created bug #23445 describing this issue.
