Control order of tabs?

CE 5.2i on WIMP

Such a simple need but I can't find it: How can I control the order in which the user tabs are shown. For example, I always want my tabs to be (left to right) Leads|Contacts|Accounts.

I can see where I can choose to display/not display tabs, but how can I set the order?

I should mention that I am not using the grouped tabs

My understanding is that you go to ADMIN > CONFIGURE TABS and just drag the tabs into the order you want them. Unfortunately for me, my changes only seem to apply to the Admin account. None of the other users are seeing my changes and they can't set the tab order themselves either.

I agree wtih you. It would certainly seem logical that if I set them in Admin they would be set across the board. But thats not the case in my install either.

This might have to end up being a feature request.
