Convert Lead - custom fields

Hello!

in my older sugar 5.2 i could define custom fields with exact the same name and during converting a lead to contact it showed me that custom fields.

But with my new installation of 6.2.2 it does not show the custom fields any more during convert.

did something change here?

Can custom fields also e converted to Opportunities?

ok seems that i have to use the convertdefs.php now and add the fields manually.

Or are there other methods now?

i´m not sure if you have the studio in the CE version but in Pro you can go into Studio/Leads/Layouts/Convert Lead and edit contacts. here you can add custom fields that you have created for leads and contacts.

Yes, custom fields can be copies for opportunities.
You just have to edit the file:
modules/leads/metatadata/convertdefs.php

There is a section for opportunities panel, you just have to include the opportunities field names there. They will appear on the conversion screen, and be copied properly.

I have tried they same way but it didn't only show even i try to remove opportunity name from code but it still displaying Opportunity 5 fields, My question is can i add any custom fields while converting Leads into opportunity? Can i also add Name, Website & Office no fields on Opportunity though these field we can see on Account section but i need to add those detail on Opportunity as well?

How can i modify fields while converting leads to any checkbox please please help
