Convert Lead Fields

Hi all.
I have an install of sugarcrm 5.2.0e (Build 5626) and i am trying to customise it. I have created several new Fields in both Leads and in Accounts. We are using .CSV files with headers to import data into the Fields section and the data does import correctly. I've added 5 new Fields, Secretary, Director Name, ID and CCJ Value. We need to be able to convert a Lead into an Account and have all the data from the newly added Fields to transfer over to Accounts when using the convert lead tool, but unfortunately when we click on convert lead the new Fields are not shown and subsequently do not transfer over into Accounts.

I have spent hours trying to make this work but have run out of ideas, i need some advice on this to move it forward.

You need to create the fields into Leads and Accounts module with the exactly same name.
All custom fields matching name on both Accounts and Leads will be rendered at the bottom of New Account form.

I have done as instructed and yes the new fields DO display correctly now when pressing 'Convert Lead', the issue i face now is that when i then fill in the new fields with data and press convert lead the data does not then show up in the newly created account, the fields in Accounts remain blank, void of data...

I have created 5 new fields, some of the data will be alphabetical, some numerical, for example.

CCJVALUE will be a series of numbers
Director will all be letters
ID will be all numbers
Turnover will be all numbers
ID will all be numbers

When i create the new fields within the Sugar studio i am given the option for each to choose a Data Type, i have used TextField for all and i am sure that is not correct, could you advise on the correct Data Types for each of my 5 fields?
